Some Day Someone Should Post a Team Update…

So… I have prelims in 3 days and have been a bit checked out (as most of us I think) since the Betis match…

But as I understand it, some interesting things have happened:

1) Michel was extended.

2) Del Nido announced that we have 6-10 million for signings, though that depends on whether we sell anyone…

3) What’s the deal with Caceres?  Is he coming back now because Juve did well?  That would either solve our RB problems or give us more cash…

4) Negredo sounds like he was pissed about how the season went.  Does that sound like discontent to you all?  Is he asking for the exit?  How much is he worth these days?  Should we consider selling him, given we have plenty of other needs and a very promising striker who our coach will never ever play.

5) King Kanoute…  Anyone know where he’s headed?

6) Rodri?  Acosta?  Other loanees… Anyone have status updates?

Anyway, was just getting depressing seeing that old title from our thrilling season-ending 1-1 tie to Espanyol.  And yes, let’s be very glad we did not go the way of Villareal.  And lets all support Bilbao against Barcelona in the CdR.

  1. Oh, I should also add, what’s up with Manu del Moral? He’s still signed right? But does his contract value change or something? And Guarente? Still signed? Any value at all?

  2. El club nervionense ha fichado a Bryan Rabello, joven delantero, internacional chileno, del Colo Colo.

  3. Aaron

This is obviously all great. Sorry, but I know Jeremy and I were waiting for the Forza post to come out since we knew a lot of these things would be in it.

I haven’t heard anything about Cáceres that makes me think he’s coming back. Maybe since Juve won the Scudetto that means Sevilla will get a bit more money out of his transfer. I have heard no specifics regarding this, though this is the way things usually end up (remember all the €€€ Dani Alves earned us during Barca’s treble?).
