Well they say if the 10-12 days is accurate he will barely be back for the Europa match against Karpaty. It’s some muscle in his knee/lower leg.

That’s a full strength defence….I’d like to see Fazio in instead of Escude and Cala if he’s still around. But other than that looks good. In this sort of formation if one of our middle men is Jose Carlos do you want Cigarini doing a clean-up Zokora job or would he just be doing a Xavi/Busquets job?
yeah, i realize that about the defense, but cala is on loan i believe. and escude didnt play against bilbao, so it seems to me like alexis-caceres will be the first choice to start against barcelona. and navarro has a red card so he cant play against barcelona anyway.
dabo could switch w/ konko… but i assume konko will be rested for barca, though he might be playing in the midfield again… i guess it really depends on what jr team guys are available as well. i just dont know them that well…
and yeah, was imagining cigarini trying to do a zokora impression.
will be interesting though. hopefully these guys can shine with this opportunity to play.

but they have my defense. but replace jose carlos with zokora and rodri with acosta:

that also answers your cigarini question. we will leave the zokora impression for zokora and let cigarini move forward more… which i think will be good. lets see what he can do.
Maybe we could have Alexis replaced by Fazio and I really think that it’s matches like these where we need to give players like Carlos playing time. Because he looked like he really could be our next Navas when I saw him against Levante. The problem with our youth is that as soon as one manager starts bringing through a youth player he gets sacked and every new manager seems to think differently about which Cantera players we want.
